CES: PC is just one of ‘three screens,’ Ballmer says
“Now it’s no longer just about the desktop but really a broader vision,” Ballmer said, adding later: “Microsoft is transforming what Windows is, from a PC OS to a connected platform; an experience that spans the PC, the phone, the TV and the cloud.”
Yeah, cause, let’s face it, Microsoft is so “well known” for what they can do on a TV, a phone, and the cloud. Last time I used a Windows-based phone I literally wanted to hurl it at someone’s head. Not because that someone pissed me off but rather that the phone was pissing me off and that someone just happened to be in my way of throwing it out the window.
